Scottish Kennel Club Championship Show 2015 Critique

Yearling Dog (3.1abs).

1st. BOND’S REGALFLIGHT RUEBEN.
Well proportioned young dog with super head and kind expression, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, straight front and correct length of feet, deep chest and good width of quarters, in lovely harsh coat and condition. Reserve C.C.

2nd. FOY’S DORRATOR FRANKLIN.
A good dog who needs more time to mature, masculine head but not coarse, moderate reach of neck, well angulated front and good feet, good length and depth of body with arch over loin, moved well.

Post Graduate Dog (2).

1st. McKINNON’S MOIREACH OSPREY OF FINGON.
Upstanding dog of good proportions, good head and reach of neck into well laid shoulders, deep brisket and correct arch over loin which he used with well angulated quarters to move around the ring, in lovely muscular condition and with good tail set and carriage.

2nd. CUNNINGHAM’S TEVIOTDALE BANNER BLUE.
Not the movement of 1 but a nice dog overall with good feet and well turned stifles, in good condition.

Limit Dog (3).

1st. MILNE & ANDREWS’ ISLAY’S IARLA TO LEOCH. (Imp).
Masculine dog with good head, dark eye, good reach of neck, straight front, well balanced body with correct rise over loin, moved very well.

2nd. DAVIS & MACINTYRE’S KILLOETER QUERN AT CUILLINMOR.
Heavier dog than 1 with good head and expression, deep chest, well angulated quarters but croup rather steep, his movement was not his best today.

3rd. SAMWAYS’ CASSACRE AETHELGILD.

Open Dog (4).

1st. HAWKINS’ CH. KWARICOTT CORELLI.
Beautiful dog of balanced length and depth, super head with dark eye and pigmentation, good reach of neck into well laid shoulders, straight front and neat feet, good width of second thigh, well turned stifles and let down hocks, in excellent coat and muscular condition which showed in his effortless movement. C.C.

2nd. MORTON & MORGAN’S CH. COTHERSTONE SHOT AND STEEL.
Close up to 1 with lovely dark eye and beautiful head, excellent depth of chest well angulated all round, moved very well around the ring, true both coming and going.

3rd. MACBEAN’S KILLOETER RUAIG.

Veteran Dog (1).

1st. SWANSON’S MENTEITH DECLAN OF ALTIMARLACH.
This dog was rather lighter in bone than most, but had all the attributes of a good dog with straight front and balanced body, good turn of stifle, moved extremely well.

Puppy Bitch (1).

1st. ALLDAY & FOSTER’S KILBOURNE SWEET CHARITY.
Feminine bitch of correct shape and size, dark eye, rather short in feet but good front, correct depth of chest for age and good tail set and carriage. Best Puppy.

Junior Bitch (2).

1st. ROBERTSON’S CHUILINN BERENGARIA.
Very feminine bitch with good harsh coat and well muscled for age, good forechest and straight front, well angulated hind quarters, moved very free and true with ease.

2nd. HEAP’S LEOCH JUNIPER OF FINTALLOCH.
Similar to 1 with deep chest, correct length and depth of body, moderate bend of stifle, good feet, moved well.

Yearling Bitch (4).

1st. MORGAN’S REGALFLIGHT RACER.
Very feminine classic head, lovely length of neck into well laid shoulders, straight front and good feet, super depth of chest and rise over loin, moved very freely and without effort.

2nd. CUNNINGHAM’S CHUILINN BALLAD.
Feminine bitch of good shape and size, correct shaped head, dark eye and pigmentation, well angulated front and rear, moved well.

3rd. GILLIE’S DORRATOR GARVEY.

Post Graduate Bitch (6.3).

1st. BAILEY’S GREYFLAX SUMMER BREEZE.
Lovely made bitch of correct size and proportions, dark eye and good reach of neck, lovely lay of shoulder and deep chest, well bent stifles, let down hocks and good second thigh in excellent coat and muscular condition, moved around the ring with ease.

2nd. STUART & HOLT’S LAIRIGEFYNE GARRON AT OLLANDSHEART.
Different type to 1 with feminine head and kind expression, good length and depth of body, correct topline and fall away, moved well.

3rd. LYON’S KESSOCH BLACK SAM BELLAMY.

Limit Bitch (7).

1st. DOAK’S ROSSLYN QORRIE.
Very elegant feminine bitch who has an excellent movement covering the ground with ease, classic head with dark eye, straight front, correct feet, good depth of chest and length of body, well let down hocks, moved effortlessly round the ring.

2nd. SMART’S KESSOCH MACHAIR OF GREYSTIEL.
Nice shaped bitch with typical head and expression, adequate front angulation, feet could be better, good depth of brisket and tuck up, moved soundly and freely.

3rd. CROSSAN & FOOTE’S FINTRALGOR RED RED ROSE.

Open Bitch (6.3).

1st. DOAK’S ROSSLYN PLEDGE.
Lovely very feminine bitch who completely filled my eye and could do the job she was bred for, presented a lovely balanced outline, super head and kind expression with dark eye and pigmentation, strong neck and excellent lay of shoulder, good length of upper arm, great depth of chest and spring of rib, lovely sweeping rear quarters, low hocks, in excellent coat and muscular condition, moved with far reaching and driving movement. 2nd. BAILEY’S GREYFLAX JUST PEACHY.
Lighter built than 1 but of very good shape, neat head and ears, good angulation all round, moved very sound.

3rd. CONSTANTINE’S GENTIEHUN ADELAIDE OF KALEGINY.
